How To Change Orientation In Google Slides

The default in Google Slides, is for slides to be mural but yous can change their size or alter them to portrait slides easily.

Open your presentation in Google Slides
Click on File (on the carte du jour bar)
Cull Folio Setup (it'south near the bottom of the menu)

Choose Custom
